Visitors from Mauritania

For my work at the bank today, I had the opportunity to entertain two visiting government agents from the country of Mauritania. If you look at a map of Africa, Mauritania borders Algeria and is one of the closest African Countries to America. I got to sit down with the two guests for a couple of hours and teach them Adobe Premier / non-linear video editing technology. Now, this normally would be a simple task involving computer lingo and limited comprehension of technology, but what made this such a challenge is that the Mauritanian’s only speak Arabic, French, and a little bit of English. I speak German, not French, and I am sorry to report that my Arabic isn’t up to par for teaching technical lingo. This was more of a lesson for me to become a mime than it was to be a true consultant. The day is over and Tango lessons are up next!

Taco, Taco, Tango???
