College Weekend Update

This weekend, I went back to Philly to party it up at our apartment at the courts. Dave and Tom my two roomates (for our triple) were all there and the other two non-beta residents were also around. Brian will join us when the school year starts.

I didn’t get in on Friday night until a little after Midnight because I stayed late at work. I was hittin’ up BL2 action and got caught up. So nothing important took place on Friday. On Saturday, Daves Parents (Dave and Diane) took me out to lunch. His grandfather was also there and it was neat to see his parents. His Gpa was a kick. He came up to me after the meal and acted like he was going to tell me this huge secret when he said, “You know what I’m going to do??” I looked at him with a slight grin, “What’s that?” After a slight pause he smiled and said, “The minute I get in the car for the ride home, I’m going to take a nap!”

So we wanted to have this big party that included inviting all these people. Dave was telling me how there were all these camps at ‘Nova and that we need to go get some people to come to our party. I’m not shy, and I was built for sales so I was totally down to go invite random people to our party. After coming out of the dinning hall there were these three gals sitting on the steps in front of Bartley. One girl was kinda off by herself and the other two were in a conversation. As Dave drove by, I told him that we should stop and invite the three of them to our party. They respectfully declined. 🙂 I guess my sales skills wern’t as good there.

The party did go off without a hitch and as far as I can tell everyone had a good time. The roomates went to the shore on Sunday, but i was left to drive back to DC. (Sigh)

Well, back to work for now.
