Btw... we dont accept each other on the "Autobahn" - highway - it is more like a war on the road. When you drive on the left lane and something fast comes from behind and you can't move to the right in time, mostly stupid drivers will drive behind your car very narrow (5 meter or less) - and shooting at you with their lights. Well not everbody is driving like this but there are many - cowboys on the road :) At the moment the penalty for that is very low - only a few hundred euros - but they want to change it to some thousand euros, which is fine. Driving fast on the left lane is stupid and dont accept slower vehicles. I really like how americans drive - not that fast and you can overtake vehicles on the right lane. Did you ever thought about when you are on the right lane in germany and on the left lane is a slower vehicle? This is the worst situation - because you can't move on and need to wait until the driver turns on his brain and move his ass to the right lane :) Also driving slower with an average speed is better than driving sometimes very fast and than need to break because of slower vehicles.
