Security Holes at Flickr?
Mark has an interesting post about some exposed user data over at flickr. Check out the post and help get it in front of someone who can change this! I dugg the story for this reason. If you agree that this is worthly of discussion, please digg it also!

This is a very concerning discovery. As the web continues to become more and more integrated, there will be an ever increasing amount of data that is shared from person to person through sites that are deemed to be “safe”. If this is happening at Flickr, it is most likely a problem that other community sites are experiencing as well. Although I do not beleive it will ever come to a point where people that are already on the “web2.0 bandwagon” stop using such sites, this could be a significant inhibiter for late adopters. Just a few thoughts….
Very good points. Like Mark said in his post we experienced this at wallhogs. The difference here is that you would like to think that Yahoo has the resources and ability to lock this down. Google has keep it pretty clean and I still shudder when I think of AOL releasing all of that search data. Amazing…
